Chocolate Frosting
1/4 cup butter, melted
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1/4 cups plus milk
1. Melt butter in a saucepan on the stovetop over low heat; stirring constantly.
2. When butter is totally melted, remove pan from stovetop and stir in cocoa powder and vanilla.
3. Then, stir in the powdered sugar and enough milk to make a thick, but spreadable icing.
4. Spread on cooled brownies or on a cake before icing hardens.
